Never give up – that’s the lesson Sid, a little dog from South Africa, has to teach us. Sid was suffering from TVT, a form of cancerous tumor, and her family couldn’t treat her.
So, they approached the dog rescue Sidewalk Specials in De Doorns, South Africa. They asked them to euthanize Sid so she wouldn’t suffer anymore. But Sidewalk Specials wouldn’t give up on little Sid! They put out the call and helped find Sid a sponsor for chemotherapy treatments.
And it worked! After 12 chemotherapy sessions from a generous sponsor, Sid was cancer-free!
Not only that, but she also found a forever home with a family who loves her dearly. And the difference between Sid before and after her treatment and adoption is astounding!
